Measure & Verification

Savings Verifications provide confirmation of predicted savings and/or avoided expenses. The savings anticipated from installation of an energy efficient project are used by our clients in their decision-making process regarding expenses and the priority of the recommended investments. As a result, LIT provides Savings Verification services to help the client determine the true value of their investment.

Items that can be included in these monthly reports are:

·         Energy consumption savings (kWh, mcf, gallons, etc)
·         Instantaneous power reduction (eg, Electrical Demand)
·         BTU Savings
·         Environmental emission reductions
·         Cost Savings/Cost Avoidance
·         Utility supplier billing verification
·         Utility supplier cost comparisons (rates, $/unit of energy)
·         Cost Adjusting for price change
